How do I season my Smithey ironware for the first time?
Every Smithey arrives pre-seasoned and ready for use. To build a deeper non-stick surface, we recommend cooking high-fat foods like bacon or using a light coating of grapeseed oil after each wash.
What is the best way to clean my cast iron skillet?
Wash your skillet by hand using warm water and a soft brush. For stubborn stuck-on food, use a chainmail scrubber. Always dry your ironware immediately and thoroughly to prevent rust.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return window for unused items in their original packaging. Please note that customized or engraved ironware is final sale and cannot be returned.
Do you offer international shipping?
Currently, we ship to all 50 U.S. states and Canada. Shipping rates and delivery timelines for Canadian orders are calculated at checkout based on location and weight.
Can I use my Smithey on an induction cooktop?
Yes, all Smithey cast iron and carbon steel products are induction-compatible. They also perform beautifully on gas, electric, glass stovetops, and open flames.
